Grading System at BU

Letter Grades

The grades of students studying abroad through exchange programs such as Erasmus+ are converted into local grades at Bartın University as seen in the table below.

When converted into ECTS or vice versa, the assessment system of grades ranges from AA to FF at Bartın University and A to F in ECTS system. The local grades achieved by outgoing students from the host institution are directly translated to ECTS system and then the ones at BU.

Full Academic Year: 60 ECTS

One Semester: 30 ECTS
